September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide campaign led by Feeding America. As part of the month-long campaign, Arlington EATS is partnering with Food Link and the Arlington Libraries to raise awareness and inspire action.
- Join us for a screening of A Place at the Table on Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 pm at the Robbins Library Community Room. Afterwards, join in a discussion led by Parke Wilde — a Tufts Friedman School professor, food economist, and nationally-recognized researcher on the economics of nutrition assistance programs and food security in low-income U.S. communities.
- For families with young children, the Robbins and Fox Libraries have various story hours centered around food during the week of September 9.
- Check our educational resources for the whole family
- Vote! If you are not already registered to vote, stop by Arlington EATS, 117 Broadway, on Tuesday, September 17 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for National Voter Registration Day. Registration will be provided by the League of Women Voters.
- Sign up for Advocacy Alerts from the Greater Boston Food Bank
