From the Principal: News and Events

Hello Dallin Families,
I'm amazed that we're already heading into the final stretch of our school year! This is always such a great time to be at Dallin. The next few weeks are full of joyful events and meaningful traditions, and I hope you'll be able to join us in the celebrations. Two of our biggest highlights are just around the corner: The Dallin Katherine Wall Field Day Celebration – Wednesday, May 21st, and Dallin's Performing Arts Music Performance – Friday, June 6th.
These are special moments for our students and our community, and we truly hope our families can join. There are also lots of enriching field trips planned across the grades. Thank you for the continued support of our PTO and make sure to look for communications from your teachers. A few friendly reminders and requests as we enter this busy time of year:
- We've noticed a recent increase in late arrivals. Please help us—and Mrs. Burns, who has been working hard to support students arriving late—by ensuring your child arrives before 7:55 AM. Students are marked late after 8:00 AM.
- For the safety and comfort of our students (and it's the law), dogs are not permitted on the blacktop or grassy areas around the school. If you're walking your furry friend during drop-off or pick-up, please keep them leashed on Florence Field. Thank you for helping us with this!
- Included in this newsletter is our Family Class Placement Survey—your chance to share input as we begin preparing for the 2025–2026 school year.
We’re grateful for your continued partnership. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or me with any questions or ways we can support a strong and successful end to the year.
Be well,
Thad
