Great Pumpkin Rescue Report

The Great Pumpkin Rescue was a success! We saved approximately 30 cubic yards (an estimated 8 tons!) of pumpkins from going in the trash and getting incinerated. This giant pile of pumpkins will instead turn to compost and help new plants grow.

 

Thank you to everyone who contributed and especially to the students, families, and staff who helped toss the pumpkins onto the truck last Friday!
