Student & Parent/Caregiver Workshops: The Arlington Department of Health & Human Services shared info about two opportunities:

  • Beyond the Likes is an opportunity for 14-19 year olds to join a conversation about creating safe digital spaces. It will be on Zoom; kids register here.

  • Guiding Good Choices is a workshop for parents/caregivers of students ~9-14 that teaches skills for parents for how to build communication and trust with young people to prevent substance use and other risky behaviors. Register here.

Brighter Life Therapy - has locations in Arlington, Cambridge, and Haverhill, takes insurance, and offers in-person and virtual therapy for clients of all ages.

Charlie Health - is a virtual mental health care option, seems to take many insurances. It also appears that they offer PD (some free, even for CEUs) for clinicians, as well.

McLean Hospital Child Outpatient April News - We’re excited to announce that our High School DBT Skills Training Group is now active! We are accepting referrals for the upcoming late April entry point.

  • Sessions are held in-person every Monday at 5:00 PM.

  • The teen skills group is covered by insurance.

  • The required parent component is billed separately with a psychoeducational fee.

  • For more details, including answers to common questions, please see our FAQ.

  • Referrals can be sent to mclcop@mgb.org.
