Welcome back!

We’re excited to kick-off the new school year with an introduction to SEPAC for those who don’t know of us, as well as share some upcoming events.

Arlington’s Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC) is a volunteer parent group that acts as a resource for parents and caregivers. We advocate for students with disabilities in Arlington and advise the district and the School Committee on programs and policies that best meet their needs. If you’re a community member interested in Special Education or supporting the needs of Arlington students who learn differently, you’re automatically a SEPAC member!

We hope to see you at an upcoming SEPAC monthly meeting and wish you well for the year ahead.

Upcoming Events

 Please join us at the first SEPAC monthly meeting of the year!
WHEN: October 13th, 7:30pm – 8:30pm (Zoom)
An optional, casual parent/caregiver chat will follow post-meeting from 8:30-9:00pm.
An agenda will be posted shortly on our Monthly Meetings web page. We hope you’ll come check us out - no pressure to participate – observers welcome!

Join us and the APS Special Education Staff, who is hosting this welcome event. Meet the staff and other special ed families and caregivers in Arlington.

Want to get involved with Arlington SEPAC this year in some way? Whether you have 15 minutes to help with a small task, want to join a committee, or are curious about a board role, there’s a place for you. More people means more ideas, more connection, and more impact — at whatever level works for you!
