From the PTO Treasurer: Thank you for your support!

As we end the school year, the PTO is grateful for all of the help from volunteers and donors this year. Did you child enjoy any particular Dallin events this year? A field trip, assembly or a school activity? Your support helped make those things happen!

 

Almost all of our income is from the Annual Fund and the Auction, so your contributions really made a difference! Because of your help, we were able to provide activities and enrichment for all Dallin students. We were able to provide support to teachers and staff through stipends for classroom supplies and teacher appreciation events throughout the year.

Some of the things that happened around Dallin this year with PTO support include: 

 

- Tanglewood Marionettes Assemblies

 

- Early Chapter Books for the Reading team

- Student Council Initiatives (student store, growing seedlings)

- Dallin Science Garden lessons: making seed bombs and planting garlic, peas and a salad garden, painting rocks and creating pollinator houses

- Dallin grounds beautification: Bulbs and mulch, garden plants and cleanup

- Printing the Hourglass literary magazine

- Monthly STEAM Quiz prizes

- Recess equipment

- Classroom rugs

- ASSIST funds for helping families in need based on recommendations from the Dallin social workers

 

- Welcome back luncheon

- Stipends for every classroom teacher

- Stipends for art, music, PE and library

- Stipends for custodian, nurse, social workers, reading and math specialists, and special education teachers

- Teacher meals during conferences and at curriculum night

- "Wickedly wonderful" teacher appreciation week, including notes, treats, flowers and lunch

- Teacher gifts from room representatives
